In the eighteen years work span, she has worked across materials & products; like Jewellery & fashion accessories, Lighting and stainless steel lifestyle products. Have worked with Fashion Accessory & Jewelry brand called ‘Carbon’. This was one of the first few Indigenous brands to combine good design with good manufacturing practices. Had the opportunity to combine a myriad of materials with gold and diamonds and yet make products commercially viable in the dynamic Indian market. Subsequently worked with ‘Accents For Living’ that catered to the international markets in the field of lighting.

Had the opportunity to design for brands like Crate and Barrel, Target, Ikea & Pottery Barn, to name a few.

Association with Arttdinox (Jindal stainless lifestyle product brand) goes back 13 years where after heading the design team at Arttdinox, is now attached as a design consultant. The design journey with Arttdinox has gone through rigorous transitions, discoveries and is still on a learning curve with much yet to do. Have developed over 200 products, with many designs running successfully, over the years.

The challenges that steel as a material throws at us, for lifestyle use, are very invigorating to the mind. Over the years, I have used a myriad of materials & processes in combination with stainless steel which range from handcraft brass, ceramic, glass-blowing, wire weaving, wood, beads. Each one has a story to tell. The most memorable have been products that I developed from steel wire weaving, inspired by basket weaving. It completely changed the texture of the material and added flexibility, mould-ability to the product.

Arttdinox, as a brand has offered a platform for my creative expression. It is ever-evolving, keeps the philosophy of the use of steel at its core. These are some values that inspire me to re-calibrate my designs at the same pace. As a company, it has valued my skills as a professional, placed faith and allowed me to explore.
